Rain water harvesting implementation is the collection of the Rain water falling on the roof of our building or industrial shed or on the ground surface and after appropriate filtration, this rain water either can be stored in the water tanks and brought back in to reuse for non potable water requirements or recharged in to the bore well or open well or any other water body present in the area.  Due to such rain water harvesting implementation, a huge water source which anyway is going to waste from the campus can be brought back into reuse.

Generally feasibility of the rain water harvesting broadly depends upon the following parameters.

• Type of roof and roof area or ground i.e. catchment area
• Collection and conveyance of the rain water
• Filtration of rain water
• Collection, storage or recharging of the harvested rain water.
